Change From Within: A Verbal Vehicle for Peace and Youth Empowerment

Change from Within is a dynamic collaboration between IDeology, a socially-conscious hip hop duo, and Jamie Utt, a professional public speaker who focuses on issues of diversity and overcoming prejudice, bigotry, and hate. We believe that IDeology’s music can act as a bridge that draws in young people to begin thinking about the difficult challenges of building peace and justice that lay before us all.  By pairing  IDeology with Jamie’s interactive, hands-on presentation entitled, “The Wall,” we feel that we can inspire positive change through mobilizing young people to tear down the walls of complacency, prejudice, hopelessness, and  hate that keep them from taking action in their communities.
